So I’m running Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum currently and I couldn’t create the rendering template, Movie Studio said image sizes that large were unsupported and erased the template. I suppose this is because I’m using Platinum and not Pro.

Most likely. I wasn’t aware Sony Vegas Movie Studio didn’t support the 2K resolution. Instead of entering 2048×1152, try entering in the values 1920×1080. Movie Studio should support this, and you’ll get a very similar quality. That’s the only setting you’ll need to change, the rest can stay as is in the video.
